Taking a Whitetail with a Ruger Redhawk .44 Magnum is a Pistol Hunter's Dream

Watch a hunter land a great shot on Whitehall using a .44 magnum.

Deer hunting is arguably one of the most popular types of hunting, thanks to the deer populations scattered throughout most states. The popular hunting type offers all sorts of hunting styles to fill a tag, like using a revolver.

This hunter takes us on a journey of his first-ever deer harvest with a handgun.

Watch the hunt from the point-of-view hunter.

The hunter was wearing a GoPro and wielding a Ruger Redhawk .44 magnum. The shot was approximately 65-7o yards and the hunter placed a clean double lung shot on the doe.

Something else to take notice in this video is the impressive deer stand the hunter was concealed in.

Hunting deer with a handgun seems pretty challenging compared to a rifle or shotgun. I suppose it's rewarding to make a clean shot on a deer using iron sights and handgun.
