If you plan to film your own hunt this year, please do us all a favor and take a look at these tips for doing it successfully.

With more people self-filming their hunts we are getting a ton of awesome footage. Unfortunately we are also getting a ton of horrible, almost useless footage just because people have no idea how to film your own hunt.

Thankfully Tactacam, the maker of one of the most popular bow hunting cameras available is here to save the day with a few tips on exactly how to film your own hunt.

Not only is it important to learn these tips before trying to film your own hunt, it’s also important to actually practice drawing and shooting with your camera attached to your bow. Turn the camera on and film while you are taking target practice. This gives you instant feedback of just how good the quality of your shot can be.

If it’s not up to your standards during practice, it certainly won’t be good enough when it comes time for the real deal.
