If You Hit a Buck, This Auto Body Shop Will Donate Some Doe

This auto body shop is donating to charity for every car they repair that has been totaled by a deer.

Hitting a deer with your vehicle is a frustrating experience. One Ohio auto body shop is hoping to make it a little better with a charity campaign.

Feasel’s Frame & Collision says if you, “Hit a buck, we will donate some doe.” Their campaign will donate $25 to the Calvert Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance Fund for every fix due to deer damage.

Customers will also receive an official “Certified Road Hunter” shirt as a small gift.

“We don’t want to make light of a situation not good for anybody,” Jeff Feasel told InsideEdition. “But if they leave with a smile on their face then our mission is accomplished.”

This will be their second year running this special charity campaign. During last year’s event, they repaired 25 vehicles raising $625 for Heartbeat/Hope Medical. They are hoping to double that this year.

The campaign will run until the end of November as this tends to be the most likely time to hit a deer.

“That is statistically the busiest month when it comes to deer hits,” said Feasel. “Once the crops come off the fields, the deer lose their hiding places. They just start running across the roads and they get in the way of cars.”

Keep them in mind if you live in the Tiffin, OH area and happen to hit a deer. Claim yourself a t-shirt and help a good cause after getting your car fixed.
