The truth of the matter is that a machine gun is an assault rifle. If it is fully automatic, it indeed falls under the correct terminology as “assault rifle.” Any semi-automatic rifle requires the trigger to be pressed once for each bullet fired. That, my friends, is not an assault rifle.
