Idaho Fish and Game Officers Earn Their Pay by Freeing Trapped Mountain Lion

The life of a fish and game officer is never dull.

If you talk to any five fish and game officers, they're going to share stories of adventures they've encountered on the job you wouldn't believe. For example, unless we were receiving a check to do it, most of us wouldn't mess with a mountain lion, even if our houses depended on it. The Idaho officers in this video did just that, though.

After watching this, I have to say, they're braver men than me.

One of my greatest fears in life is being eaten by a really big cat. I also hate swimming in the ocean because of sharks. On land, though, it's mountain lions that scare me. For these guys, though, it's just another day on the job when a call comes in to free a trapped mountain lion.

As you can see, it takes a special person to wear the badge. It takes an even more special person to wear a badge and wrestle a big cat out of tree that wants to rip your face off.

I think these guys deserve a pay raise!
