Ice Auger Engine Makes a Great Lake Speeder

Boredom is the inspiration behinds lots of great inventions. This guy must have been pretty bored.

Adam Ford of Green Bay, Wisconsin designed, built, and field tested his Lake Cart using a 3-horse power ice auger engine. This pretty ingenious creation was designed to help out the struggling ice fishermen who are forced to carry their ice augers all the way out to their fishing spots, and then drill a hole.

Thanks to the Ice Auger Machine, those same fisherman can now drive out to their fishing spots using the same ice auger engines that that will be drilling holes. In this video by Nick Cooper, you can see the Ice Auger Machine in action yourself.
