There is little doubt that the ICAST trade show is the place to be.
For three years running, the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades (ICAST), has been been nominated by the Trade Show News Network (TSNN), as one of the fastet growing trade shows in terms of square footage. To top it off, there seems to be no slowing down for this convention either.
On average, more than 12,000 participants attend this show every year. More and more industry professionals are making their way to this event as well, all trying get in front of the public to get their products sold.
“Our industry’s trade show continues to grow in size and impact, both domestically and internationally,” said Kenneth Andres, Trade Show Director. “ICAST’s continued growth reflects both the strength of the sport, the industry and our member companies who exhibit at the show.”
“However, the show floor’s growth is also an indicator that other manufacturers outside fishing tackle and gear, such as apparel and other related products, are noticing the growth in show attendance and want to introduce their products to ICAST attendees.” Andres continued as seen in this press release.
“The consistent uptick in attendance is a direct result of our value-added efforts which includes incorporating new elements such as on-the-water product demonstrations, an industry bass fishing tournament, an industry golf/fishing tournament and an expanded business seminars schedule,” Andres said. “ICAST is a full-package of events and exhibitions which is what our exhibitors and attendees are seeking.”
As fisherman, as long as we see ICAST continuing to grow, and to continue being recognized out of all trade shows, the future of fishing is only looking up.
