Everybody who’s anybody in the fishing industry will be at ICAST 2014.
The International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades, or ICAST 2014, officially starts today, July 15 and runs until Friday, July 18 at Orlando, Florida’s Orange County Convention Center.
It’s easily the biggest fishing convention and trade show in the world, bringing together all the brands and companies that offer the newest gear, accessories and apparel. Check out this video uploaded to YouTube by ASAFishing previewing the show.

Organized and run by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), ICAST is a yearly shindig that shows off the latest and greatest in angling products. The International Fly Tackle Dealer Show is held in conjunction with ICAST as well, because they wouldn’t leave the fly fishermen out of things, would they?
Business conference session help tackle shop owners, fishing retailers and other industry members learn about the newest trends and themes, and allows for great collaboration and networking opportunities.
Not everybody gets to catch ICAST in person, but it’s one of those outdoor industry shows that should be on your bucket list if you consider yourself a truly avid angler or are looking to make waves in the trade.
