Crossbow hunting is hard, but this hunter makes it look easy.
Many hunters set up in a treestand because it helps in hiding their scent and makes it easier to blend in. Hunting from the ground is more difficult, especially when hunting short range as you do with a bow or crossbow.
This hunter though, makes it look easy, and has video from multiple points of view to show it.
The bolt was well placed and had an instant impact on the deer. Although the video does not state it, I am sure this deer did not get far before lying down.
Did you notice all the other whitetails as the deer ran? Do you think a little more patience from this hunter might have given him an opportunity on a bigger deer? Or was he busted, and had to take the shot?
