Hunter Calls in Bobcat Extremely Close with Prey in Distress Call

While hunting predators with a prey in distress call, this hunter has a bobcat encounter he won’t soon forget.

Bobcats are pretty rare and they have a huge home range so any bobcat encounter is bound to be memorable. Calling a bobcat within ten feet is something that you’ll talk about for the rest of your life and that’s exactly what this hunter did!

Watch the video to see how this memorable bobcat encounter took place.

When you start squealing away on a predator call, you never know what might show up. Bobcats, foxes, coyotes, bears, and mountain lions are all susceptible to the promise of an easy meal.

If you are trying to create a bobcat encounter of your own, remember that these stealthy predators are sight hunters. Therefore, forget the wind and focus on setting up in a location where you are concealed. A motion decoy can also help entice a wary bobcat out of the brush and into range.

Luckily for the cat in the video, this hunter was not targeting bobcats on this hunt. Otherwise, this bobcat encounter probably would have ended a whole lot different.
