This tutorial definitely takes the mystery out of fly tying and demonstrates how you can tie up a batch that will work just fine on hooking those fish.

There it is, a great demo of how easy it can be. I have been fly fishing for around 20 years but did not take up fly tying until very recently. I don’t know why I waited so long.

Starting it out can be a little bit intimidating but these guys show just how easy it can really be and with the amount of fly tying starter kits it is simpler than ever.

Tying your own flies is a great pastime in the winter months, allowing you to dream about those next big trout or bass as you tie away some of your favorite patterns.
