How to Kill, Skin, and Cook a Rattlesnake

Here is a step by step video of how to use a rattlesnake in a time of survival.

Rattlesnakes are aggressive and just plain frightening to most. The sound of the rattle alone can make a grown man wet his pants. Bob Hansler shows that a rattlesnake can have some great value though, if you are trying to survive in the wild.

He just so happens to find this rattlesnake in mid hibernation which makes the capture very easy because the snake is slow and unresponsive.

If you are in heat of summer, make sure you take extreme care when messing with these deadly creatures. Brace yourself if you have a weak stomach because the snake keeps moving long after Bob dispatches of it!

Even if you aren’t in a scenario where you are trying to scavenge to survive, this video can be of some benefit to you. Find you a rattlesnake and put some food on the table.

While you’re at it, you might as well make a new belt and some snakeskin boots.
