How to Fry and Fix Your Morel Mushrooms

Morel mushrooms are a delicious outdoor delicacy. Fry them up for a tasty meal that you won't regret.

If you haven't had fresh fried morel mushrooms in the spring, you just haven't lived. From all the natural organic meals I have throughout the year from my adventures and hunts, mushrooms is always the ones I look forward to the most.

Unfortunately, I don't find near as many as I would like, but thanks to some friends and family, I usually get my fix. Although there may be many ways to prepare them, fried mushrooms never disappoint.

Head out to the woods and look for these glorious little fungi... and follow along with this video to have your taste buds blown away.

The main ingredient is flour, but put your own spin on it and try new things. Add garlic salt, paprika, a little cajun seasoning for some kick. I like to try something different every batch. But salt is your friend. If they don't taste quite right, just add a little salt until it becomes that melt in your mouth sensation!

Spring is here and that means plates full of fried morels and crappie and it doesn't get any better than that.

There is two things that comes to my mind every year with morels though. 1-I never have enough and 2- I wish these things grew year round.

Enjoy yet another amazing thing from God's great grocery store. Field to plate, just the way we all like it!
