Highest Number Ever Recorded for Continental Waterfowl Population in 2015

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has released their waterfowl survey with the highest population numbers ever recorded.

Last year, the 2015 waterfowl report showed that the waterfowl population is 43 percent higher than average totaling 49.5 million ducks across the country.

This is the highest population of ducks and other waterfowl ever recorded since the surveys started taking place in 1955.

Hunting seasons across the country are still being released but it is bound to be a lucrative season for duck hunters this year.
