The High Standard Model 10A Bullpup Shotgun was quite a futuristic shotgun back in the late 1960’s.
With its short size and five 12 gauge shotshell capacity, the High Standard Model 10A was both maneuverable and powerful.
This futuristic style shotgun never caught on and was eventually discontinued.
The High Standard Model A Bullpup Shotgun was a wave of the future in the late 1960s.
With a full length 18″ barrel in a bullpup configuration this little shotgun could even be shot one handed while holding a ballistic police shield with the other hand.
Sadly, it never caught on. The Model A was discontinued and shortly after a Model B was unveiled in the 1970s, with a detachable flashlight and a fold down carry handle. This too was discontinued.
Bullpup shotguns were just too radical for the market at that time.
