A white tiger and a white lion living at the T.I.G.E.R.S Sanctuary came together to create little white liger cubs.

A liger is created by a male lion and a female tigress.

The T.I.G.E.R.S Sanctuary in South Carolina houses a white male lion and a white female Bengal tigress.

Dr. Antle, who set up the park back in 1988, allowed them to breed.

The results were four baby white ligers.

The first of their kind.

The liger population worldwide is estimated at about 1,000. Ligers are not found in the wild.

The cubs were named Yeti, Odlin, Sampson and Apollo.

Ligers are real. And now you can say you’ve seen a white one. At least in pictures.
