As shooters, we sometimes forget we are also athletes. We need to improve all aspects of our performance, not just our skills with the handgun. Our bodies need improvement as well. Physical training and being in shape are important aspects to our self defense and health. This is true whether we train for self defense or competition. A healthy regiment of exercise is important for all aspects of our lives. We want to live as long as we can right? That’s why we train in self defense.

These are all great exercise and easy to do both at the gym and at home.
Next time I get to the gym, I am going to try some of these and see if I can get a measurable difference in my performance over all. This is a great goal to work for over the winter months.
