3 of 10 Gun Shop Smash-and-Grab Thieves Caught by Police in Texas

Arrests have been made in the break in at the Carter’s Country Guns & Ammo.

In less than 48 hours after the break in, three suspects are in custody.

The crime itself only lasted 120 seconds. For the criminals that are being apprehended, this crime will cost them federal charges.

Authorities have reported three of the 10 thieves that were videotaped breaking into Carter’s Country Guns & Ammo have been apprehended. Out of the 50 weapons that were stolen from the heist, some have been recovered at this time.

The thieves originally used a black Ford F-250 pickup truck to rip the doors off the gun shop at 4:30 AM during the heist. They grabbed long guns from the racks and smashed display cases to steal pistols.

There is a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrests of the other accomplices.
