What happens when a building full of guns and ammunition catches fire?
There are few places more terrifying to catch fire than a gun and ammunition shop. There is a serious risk that the ammo could go off at any time during a heated blaze.
That is exactly what was on firefighters’ minds at the Grouse Perch gun shop in Old Saybrook, Connecticut.
The fire actually started towards the front of the building that serves at a family’s home, but quickly spread towards the Grouse Perch’s location at the back.
Even though the Grouse Perch closed its doors a few months ago, there were guns and ammo that had not yet been removed.
Thankfully, no one was injured, and no explosions occurred. Things definitely could have gone much, much worse.
