Guiness World Record: Fully Functioning, Life-Sized Camper Built from LEGOS [VIDEO]

A life-sized caravan has been built entirely form Lego bricks to set a new record.

Who’s ready to do a little camping with a freshly built Lego Caravan? After 12 weeks of construction and more than 1,000 man hours a new record was met. It took the 12-person crew 215,158 individual LEGO pieces to build the largest caravan built with interlocking plastic bricks.

Take a look at the world record camper built entirely of LEGO bricks

The life size caravan was inspirited by the real teardrop style of caravans. The project features fully-functioning amenities including sink with running water, electric lights, a bed, seating, a chess set, LEGO food, a chess set, and even toothbrushes.

The camper will be featured at the 2015 Motorhome and Caravan Show. Afterward it will be on display at LEGO fan event BRICK 2015.

LEGO is very popular with record breakers. The Guinness World Records 2016 Edition will even feature an exclusive section for LEGO related records.

I wonder how much it would cost if a builder purchased all 215,158 individual LEGO pieces at a store? Would you go camping in this piece of LEGO history?
