Fishing Year-Round? Here’s a Great Way to Keep Minnows Alive [VIDEO]

This is an efficient way of storing and keeping minnows to have on hand all year.

If you fish year-round, this tip could really help you out. Unless you have a large bait shop in your area that stays open through the winter months, it can be hard to find live bait.

Even if you fish weekends or have to drive to get live bait, this set-up would be an awesome time-saver for you. Check out this easy and inexpensive way to keep bait for long periods of time.

As the video shows, it is a very clean system and requires little maintenance. In the video, the instructor says that he changes the filter once a week and the water is crystal clear.

He does suggest removing the chlorine from the water in order to keep your minnows alive much longer. Follow the directions that you are given in this video, though, and you should be on your way to always having live bait on hand.
