Good Samaritan Driver Carries Moose Calf to Safety Across Busy Road in Anchorage, Alaska [VIDEO]

A driver in Anchorage, Alaska stopped to help a moose calf that was stranded on one side of the road. The good deed was all caught on film.

Keith Burgess and his girlfriend were driving along in East Anchorage when they noticed a young moose trying to walk across a busy stretch of road.

The man was able to pick up the calf and carry it safely to the other side with the help of a police officer.

You can see a lot of things in Anchorage, Alaska, but usually not a man carrying a moose calf across the road.

The baby had been separated from its mother by the same highway and was calling to her. Enter a man with the right idea. He waited for police to arrive and together they were able to make their way across the road and release the moose back into the wild.
