Glock Fishing Invasive Lionfish Looks Like Fun

Glock fishing invasive lionfish

Invasive lionfish are a destructive predatory fish.

What better way to get rid of this nuisance than shooting them underwater? Witness some extreme underwater Glock fishing invasive lionfish.

Youtuber Courtland Hunt has alerted us of something that many people don’t know about, and an offbeat way to respond to it. It is the outbreak of highly invasive lionfish that threaten fisheries.

With a highly modified Glock 17 pistol in 9mm, these armed fishermen hunt down lionfish over 100 feet deep in the Gulf of Mexico. Up close, a Glock pistol underwater sure puts the invasive fish down quickly, and this seems even more enjoyable than spear fishing.

Lionfish are also a great meal. This awesome underwater sport combines fishing, shooting and invasive species control into one activity. This is certainly on our bucket list!
