A Giant Alaskan Humpback Was Filmed Feeding Right Next to Dock

Seeing an Alaskan humpback whale this close is just a normal day for these folks.

In the great outdoors, everything is pretty much relative to where you live. What is everyday stuff to one person is a life changing encounter with wildlife for another. When it comes to the land of the midnight sun, watching Alaskan humpback whales eat entire schools of fish next to a dock is pretty much normal everyday life.

As you are about to see in this video, Captain Cy of Strike Zone Sportfishing was able to get the whole thing on tape.

I have to admit, if I was there watching this happen I would have probably been screaming just like the lady in the background. More than likely, she’s probably from Indiana, too, and seeing a whale in person is about as common as seeing a sasquatch. Good thing this whale was just a little easier to catch on video.

This video has pretty much gone viral since it first hit the internet a few days ago, and for good reason. Seeing something like this just isn’t a normal thing.

Of course, unless you live in Alaska apparently.
