I challenge you to tell us a hunting story that’s weirder than this one.
On Oct. 2, bowhunter Casey Sanders arrived at his deer stand near Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia to find something unexpected. A naked man was standing in a nearby creek, holding nothing but a walking stick. The buck naked stranger said he had been beaten up by a group of guys while leaving Tomorrowland, a three-day electronic dance music festival held at a site nearby four days earlier.
The man said he’d been in the woods since the festival, staying alive on rotten crab apples and creek water, and that he didn’t even know what state he was in.
Sanders made sure to keep his distance from the naked man but managed to record this bizarre exchange on his camera.
More strangeness in the hunting world:
Sanders wrote that he eventually helped the man find his way off his land.
“He recalled his number and I got in touch with somebody to come get him after I led him to the road. By far the craziest hunting story, I will ever have!”
If you were the hunter, what would you have done?
