Check out this brief glimpse into the work of the Zambeze Delta Anti-Poaching Unit as they fight against poachers in Africa.
If you remember, I wrote an article on the documentary being made about the Zambeze Delta Anti-Poaching Unit a couple of months ago. Thanks to the support you guys gave to the project, it got the green light and has made it through the entire production process.
The film does an incredible job of showing life on the front lines with the brave and dedicated people fighting poaching in Mozambique. The Zambeze Delta Anti-Poaching Unit is funded in large part by sustainable hunting in the game rich Coutada 11 area of Mozambique. Though the brutal civil war that raged for decades in Mozambique devastated wildlife populations there, conservation efforts led by hunters have helped animal populations rebound to the incredible levels present today.
Check out the video to see a preview of the full documentary and get an idea of what life is like on the front lines of the war raging between poachers and conservationists in Mozambique.
The full length documentary aired on August 6 on the Sportsman Channel. In case you missed it, check back soon for more opportunities to see it.
