FPSRussia Cast Member Found Dead in 2013, Still No Suspects

Huffington Post

The death of FPSRussia cast member Keith Ratliff remains a mystery.

Keith Ratliff, of the popular YouTube channel FPSRussia, was found dead on Jan. 3, 2013. Ratliff was 32 years old and was found shot through the side of his head as he sat at his desk in his office.

The self-proclaimed gun lover co-owned a gun manufacturing company with his friend Kyle Lamar Myers called FPS Industries Global. Myers is known for playing the role of Dmitri Potapoff, a heavily-accented Russian in FPSRussia videos.

Ratliff was a behind-the-scenes guy who filmed Myers shooting a variety of weapons. The weapons in Ratliff’s office were not taken by the shooter, which led authorities believe he was killed by someone he knew and trusted.

The case is now even more of a mystery than when it opened two years ago. Online, many have suggested competitors, friends, and even “secret government agencies” are to blame for the YouTube star’s death.

Who killed Keith Ratliff? The search continues.
