Forgotten Weapons Briefs Us on the Pedersen Device

Ian from Forgotten Weapons briefs us of an important military development.

The Pedersen Device promised to end World War I.

Take a step back with Forgotten Weapons and learn all about the Pedersen Device.

Originally called the US Automatic Pistol, Caliber .30, Model 1918 the Pedersen Device was a feared weapon of the World War I trenches. Ian from Forgotten Weapons briefs us from the War To End All Wars back before the spring offensive of 1919 with this semi automatic rifle attachment.

What can the Pedersen Device do? It will fire 40 rounds in a semi automatic function from a detachable magazine of a smaller .30 caliber pistol ammunition. Now that is impressive firepower from a normal Springfield 1903 bolt action military rifle.

Take a trip back in time and join Ian to take a look at the incredible Pedersen Device that took the trenches by storm.
