How to Make DIY Foam Earplug Bullets [VIDEO]

Foam earplugs are great for saving our hearing while shooting, but how can they be made into bullets?

This video blew me away.

Just the title of it was intriguing enough, but the idea of turning foam earplugs, a typical shooting accessory found in any gun enthusiast’s gear bag, can actually be used as ammunition… that’s just nuts!

If you plan to shoot a .45 Long Colt caliber revolver, this is a quick, clean and safe way to shoot your big bore revolver in a small area.

The increase in the cowboy shooting sports has brought the old single action revolver back to popularity, and the need to practice your cowboy shooting skills becomes quite important. Enter the foam earplugs-turned-impromptu bullets. They shoot cleaner than wax bullets, and are readily available at a cheap price just about anywhere.

They are powered by using the primer only in the pistol case. Foam earplug bullets have enough power to break balloons, and have plenty of accuracy for close range shooting. The best part is that they are reusable!

This clean, safe and quiet load will get you the needed practice without breaking the bank.
