Go Fly Fishing and Floating for Bass Down Devils River in Texas

Fly fishing and floating for bass on the Devils River is truly a trip down a desert Oasis.

Redington takes you fly fishing and floating for bass with Brent and Ashley Hodges, fly shop owners, as they go fishing and floating on the Devils River in Texas.

This couple operates their own successful fly shop and guiding business, but when it is time to relax they naturally go fishing on one of their favorite rivers.

The Devils River has such good fishing conditions because it is fed by numerous cold springs that keep the water temperatures cooler within desert conditions. The river is also one of the least ecologically impacted waterways in Texas, retaining a wildness that harkens back to a time before widespread settlement, and industrialization.

For more information on the Devils River and camping and fishing opportunities see the State Parks site at this link.
