Louisiana flood victims are probably happy these guys love to kayak fish.

Amidst the horrible weather and flooding that has hit Louisiana in the last week, these men have been saving Louisiana flood victims using their fishing kayaks.

These photos of people rescuing stranded people from the rising waters surfaced on the Instagram account of Ride The Bull Kayak Rodeo, one of the largest kayak tournaments in the country.

When I first saw these photos, I was interested to see if others would step up and join in on the cause. It turns out that many people began using their fishing kayaks to help save lives.

Brendan Bay shared this photo that captures one man climbing out of a window and onto a rescuer’s fishing kayak.

Here is another awesome photo that was shared by Ride The Bull Kayak Rodeo, this time showing an angler cruising down the streets while the flooding was taking place.

These are good pictures to use as ammo next time you are trying to convince your wife that you need a new fishing kayak. Forget all the typical excuses and tell her that these photos have motivated you to want to save lives.

It’s not for your own enjoyment, but for the charitable service you can provide to your family and your neighborhood should disaster strike.
