Check out this video of a beached tiger shark accidentally caught by fishermen in Western Australia.
The fishermen caught the tiger shark last Wednesday while fishing on Maud’s Landing, a popular tourist beach in Australia’s Coral Bay.
Onlookers watched as local fishermen banded together to pull out the fishing hook, and release the shark back into the ocean.
Midway through the video, one of the fishermen sits on top of the shark and covers its head with a red towel, while another man uses pliers to pry the hook from its mouth.
It was a bold move, as tiger sharks can be extremely dangerous when they feel threatened.
According to the video’s description, the shark weighed around 400 kilograms, or 881 pounds.
