Some guy in Florida with six poles already has the fishing spot, but according to the new guy, his angling is illegal. Who’s in the right here?
Two older folks with six rigs in the water are fishing a jetty somewhere when this guy walks up and wants the spot… or did they take his spot away? The YouTuber states in his post:
“I tried to fish around his six poles, but 2 snags and no hits later, I was fed up!” He even tells them he called the cops!
So, who was there first?
I guess when some guy with a GoPro attached to his head and a sidearm walks up and wants to fish in a spot, you let him. Here’s the video so you can decide for yourself.
Here’s a quick screenshot from the video:
God knows I don’t know whether fishing with six poles is illegal there or whether this guy has the right to carry a sidearm, but he sure seemed to be pushy with these people, despite saying “please” several times. He then proceeded to catch fish “in their face” with glee.
He also stated in his post: “From the 2016 Rec book “Hook-and-line gear: Hook-and-line anglers must tend their gear at all times to prevent people, marine life and shore life from becoming entangled in the line or injured by the hook.”
Okay… so how much closer to their rigs do they have to be? Who’s right here? Who’s wrong? What do you think?
