Firing the Rare and Interesting British 1918 Farquhar-Hill Rifle [VIDEO]

The British 1918 Farquhar-Hill is quite an interesting early semi-automatic military rifle.

While too late for World War One use, the Farquhar-Hill was a stepping stone for future firearm designs.

The British World War One-era 1918 Farquhar-Hill rifle is one smooth shooter. It is an early semi-automatic design that fires from a truly unique 19 round detachable drum magazine. Chambered in the .303 British caliber, it had a lot of firepower for the day.

It was fielded too late to really be used in World War One other than an aircraft observer’s weapon.
