Fighting the Front Lines of Tiger Poaching in Russia [VIDEO]

The Siberian Tiger is endangered and under threat from poachers. Here is a short description of the efforts of those fighting tiger poaching in Russia.

With only a few hundred tigers left in the wild, the Siberian Tiger is an endangered species and is very vulnerable to tiger poaching. Not only are tigers under direct threat from poachers, but they are susceptible to illegal logging and disruption to their food sources.

As you can see in the video below, fighting tiger poaching in Russia is a full time, and at times, seemingly never ending job.

While conservation groups have made significant gains in helping to protect Siberian Tiger populations in recent years, there is still much work to be done.
