Tom Brokaw has earned a high honor by winning the Heritage Award from the American Museum of Fly Fishing.
Famous journalist, son of South Dakota. and news anchor Tom Brokaw is widely respected for his professional work, but many probably don’t know that he is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist. In 2015, he received a Heritage Award from the American Museum of Fly Fishing.

Tom Brokaw obviously is a very accomplished fly fisherman, gleaned from years of experience fishing saltwater flats and on rivers such as his favorite locations in Montana. He also does one of the most important things to keep our wild places protected, he passes on his passion through teaching fishing to his kids and grandkids, which ensures future generations recognize the importance of our great outdoor heritage.
