Fabio Warns Americans "Don't You Ever Give Up Your Guns!"

Actor, model and new American citizen Fabio Lanzoni loves America and admonishes his now fellow citizens to never give up their guns. How refreshing!

Fabio Lanzoni - he of romance novel cover/"I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" campaign/acting and modeling fame - became an official American citizen last year and he's not shy about expressing his love for this country.

The professional hunk recalls when he first arrived in America years ago: "It was like a beautiful dream. It was like paradise. I fell in love with this country."

And when he gained his American citizenship the Italian proudly declared,

"This is one of the happiest days of my life. There is no such thing as an Italian dream or an English dream but the American dream is alive and well .... I am proud to be an American."

But while Fabio clearly loves his new country, he has some major issues with the way California - where he makes his home - is being run and with those who would weaken the Constitution by chipping away at the Second Amendment.

He has harsh criticism for Governor Jerry Brown's ultra-liberal policies of coddling criminals and deceiving the law abiding citizens of California. But in addition to that, Fabio is a law and order kind of guy, a police supporting celebrity.

"You're on the side of the people and the law enforcement, or you're on the side of the criminal," he says. "It's a very simple issue."

"This is the greatest country in the world," he said, "but we have to come together. We have to find common ground. When people are divided, the politicians can do whatever. When people are united, that's a dangerous thing" [for politicians].

From his unique perspective as a European immigrant, Fabio has real life experience with the freedoms Americans have and the loss of those freedoms in other countries. He does not approve of the direction that Europe has been going in recent years.

"Just look at Europe and go the opposite way. It's as simple as that," he said. "Europe already jumped off the cliff. They are doomed."

Then Fabio said something that precious few celebrities are willing to say these days: he spoke strongly against gun control and in favor of the Second Amendment.

"Don't you ever give up your guns," he declared to his fellow Americans. "If people lose that right, forget about it. Politicians, they will take everything away from you. And then what are you going to do, protest with a rock? Because that's what they do in Europe."

Fabio understands that guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens are the the best defense against tyranny. Citizens in European countries where the they are disarmed or highly restricted in gun ownership have little recourse against tyrannical governments or criminals who, according to Fabio, "are always going to have every single weapon available to them."

He said without hesitation,

"The day you give up your weapon in the United States, the United States is going to be history."

Wise words from a proud patriot. We're fortunate to count Fabio as a fellow American citizen.
