Experimenting with Vintage USSR POLEVA 12 Gauge Sabot Slugs

Straight out of Soviet history, the POLEVA Sabot Slugs are ready for big game.

Taofledermaus has his hands on some of these Cold War era shotgun slugs.

Watch as these old Russian slugs get their day at the range.

These shotgun slugs are over 30 year old straight from the USSR, and came from Latvia for testing. Taofledermaus had the pleasure of testing out these historical Russian sabot slugs. Despite their age, the POLEVA slugs are quite accurate and powerful.

These projectiles came inside their original package and paper wrapping. The shooter must load them into an awaiting powdered and primed shotgun shell.
