Wait until you see what this guy catches by fishing in the middle of a field. There must be some water there somewhere!
We’ve all used a bamboo pole at some point in our lives, but usually it involves catching panfish or something like it. When you fish in the ‘slop’ you don’t know what you might hook into, but this takes the cake.
Eventually we all catch something unexpected it’s just that it usually has gills and fins, unlike this thing.
Snake, eel, or something else altogether? Usually when you fish there’s at least some water involved! It may look like they’re ‘fishing’ in a field, but certainly there’s some water in there somewhere.
We’ve all caught snakes and frogs and other things we weren’t expecting. I’ve had seagulls grab my lure and even an osprey once dive-bombed my spinnerbait, but I’m thinking maybe these guys have done this kind of ‘fishing’ enough to know what they’re doing.
What do you think, were they fishing for snakes or was this just an unusual circumstance?
