Eva Shockey Discusses the New Face of the Hunting Industry on FOX Business [VIDEO]

Women are the fastest growing demographic among hunters and Eva Shockey is probably the most famous woman hunter in the world. Check out this FOX Business interview where she discusses her efforts to promote hunting among women.

More and more women are becoming hunters each year and Eva Shockey is leading the charge, helping break the stereotype that all hunters are men (and usually older, fat, white rednecks to boot). Last year, she was the first woman to be featured on the cover of Field & Stream since Queen Elizabeth II many decades prior.

In addition to serving as a positive role model, especially for prospective female hunters, she is also pushing for hunting clothes and equipment specifically designed for women.

Check out the video to hear her story and see some of the things she is doing for women hunters in the United States and the rest of the world.

Unfortunately, there are bad things as well as good things that come with being famous. Eva Shockey was the subject of some brutal attacks after she killed a bear in North Carolina last year. She responded gracefully, yet forcefully, to the attacks and did not let them slower her down in her work promoting hunting and conservation.
