This epic video highlights the thrill of the hunt, from the perspective of a hungry muskie.

Bill Lindner definitely hit one out of the park with this incredible muskie footage. Working the cold water of Minnesota’s Lake Minnetonka, Lindner rigged an Aqua-Vu HD camera setup underwater in hopes of capturing some behavioral footage from the fish of 10,000 casts. He did just that.

Numerous follows are filmed, while using a live sucker as bait, culminating in an awesome strike that will get the heart pounding. Underwater footage has certainly come a long way, and the clarity of this HD clip is nothing short of astounding.

Who knew a muskie would follow a live bait for so long? You would assume it would just crush it the first chance it got. You don’t realize things like this until you put a camera down below.

There’s something intoxicating about the majestic beauty of a muskie. The footage Lindner captured definitely supports that.
