Watch as Tim Wells take a flying carp to the face and nearly falls out of boat.
If you have been on a river in the Midwest in the last five years, you already know how big of a nuisance Asian carp are. If you have taken a flying carp to the face, you know how bad it can hurt! If you don’t, just ask Tim Wells of Relentless Pursuit.
Tim was out and about taking the family on a little bowfishing trip when all of a sudden, a speeding silver bullet of a fish exits the water and connects with his cheek. The blow sent his glasses flying into the water, his hat off his head, and his body tumbling to the floor leaving the steering wheel without a captain.
Bowfishing is a blast, and trying to pick an Asian Carp off in the air is a great challenge, but dodging one might be just as difficult.
One thing we know for certain is that he will have his head on a swivel next time they hit the water. Be safe out there, Tim.
