Check out this video of a juvenile Australian Sea Eagle carrying a trail camera for 70 miles across Northwestern Australia.
Australian wildlife rangers in Western Australia’s Kimberley district set up the camera last May in a bait trap alongside the Margaret River to capture footage of crocodiles. When the camera was discovered a few weeks ago 70 miles away from the river, the rangers were surprised to find footage of an eagle’s lengthy flight across Northwest Australia.

The undiscerning young eagle likely picked up the camera thinking it was meat. At the end of the video, the eagle peers into the camera lens, taking what may be the world’s first eagle selfie.
