More Than Duck Calls
The news of the Duck Commander Independence Bowl comes two weeks after the company announced a multi-year agreement to be the title sponsor of a spring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, the Duck Commander 500.
Duck Commander is also dabbling in the firearms industry. Last December, the company announced a partnership with Mossberg & Sons to release the Duck Commander Series. The new gun line includes nine shotguns, two semi-automatic rifles and an AR-style pistol. Each gun is coated with Realtree’s signature waterfowl camo pattern.
Duck Commander is the duck-hunting merchandise brand behind the hit TV series Duck Dynasty, which focuses on the Robertson family. The company is led by the family’s patriarch, Phil Robertson.
