Drowning Leopard Rescued from Well 60 Feet Deep in India

This drowning leopard was given an extra life after a tense and heroic rescue by concerned villagers in India.

The leopard can be a feared animal amongst the villagers in India, but in the case of this big cat, compassion overruled fright after it was found drowning in a well 60 feet deep. The tense rescue, which happened in the Maharashtra village of Pimpalgaon Siddhanath, took an astounding three hours in length.

Watch as these villagers use their ingenuity to save this beautiful big cat.

Definitely a few tense moments in that video. You can almost see the look of desperation in that leopard – frantic to get on dry land once again.
