Last summer, German police arrested a squirrel for harassing a citizen.
On July 12, 2015 police in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany got a call from a woman being chased by a squirrel. The squirrel was then taken into custody for acting “aggressive” toward the citizen.
The woman was being chased by the squirrel, which wouldn’t quit no matter how hard the woman tried to shake it; it was so adamant that the woman was forced to call the police.
When the squirrel was taken to the police station it was treated for exhaustion and given some honey, according to the Facebook video posted by Polizei NRW Recklinghausen.
The squirrel was sent to a rescue center where it was detained and most likely given a slap on the wrist for harassing humans.
