Desperately Seeking: Why November 16-19 is Your Best Chance to Land a Monster Buck

Monster Buck

Lock down is over and the big boys are back on the search, desperately looking for the next doe. Make your move.

The middle of November has come along and you are thinking, “How on Earth have I not sealed the deal on a shooter yet?” Well, phase 8 of Drury’s Thirteen might just be the time period you make it happen on a monster buck.

November 16-19 are the dates and the big bucks are desperately seeking their next doe. They break away from one mate and begin the search all over again.

Expect to see them anytime and anywhere. This might be the best phase of the year that you can land that Booner you have been dreaming of.

It is either feast or famine. You may see tons of bucks running and desperately seeking, or you may see nothing. But over the years, it has became Drury’s favorite phase to land a mature deer.

Focus on funnels and pinch points and be ready to sit all day, because you will have encounters at random times.

Hone in your focus from 9-11:00 a.m. and 1-4:00 p.m. Bucks began expanding home ranges again, and you wcanll catch sight of deer you have never seen before.

When you least expect it, your season can change for the better in a matter of seconds. Desperately seek them, as they desperately seek the next estrous does.

Good luck!
