Deer Needs Butchering? Toss It on Your Shoulders and Grab a Bike

Think you’ve seen it all when it comes to deer hunting? I guarantee Dave and his deer-taxiing bike is a new one.

What’s a guy to do when you need to get your deer to the butcher?

If you’re 58-year-old Dave, who resides in Iron Mountain, Michigan, the solution is simple: toss it across your shoulders and hop on your pedal bike.

But bells and whistles aren’t Dave’s style, as his bike of choice is a one-speed model. Talk about an arduous two-mile trek.

According to the filmmaker, Jason Asselin, Dave brushes off any offers for help and does this same trek every year with the deer he harvests. On this particular day, he asked his friend if he would be interested in filming him.

We have to hand it to him, he sure does have some stamina. Hopefully he doesn’t shoot a moose next season.
