Talk about over hunting; Deer Hunter 2014 has officially entered the record books.
Deer Hunter 2014, the acclaimed video game that has made its way from arcades and bars to smart phone app stores, was the most downloaded app last October.
Publisher Glu Mobile’s data claimed the game saw 40 million installations in 192 countries and almost 30 billion shots fired from virtual rifles. All told, there were more than 9.8 billion animals killed, along with 13,566 years spent hunting.
Even if you’re a true hunter who has never even played the game, you can admit the appeal of the sport. And if something promotes hunting, even in an odd way such as a video game, there’s still something to be said about raising interest. Check out this walkthrough that shows what players have in store.
