Sometimes you just run into the cutest faces when you are out in the field.
Chris Cooper, a hunter in Michigan, stumbled on a playful little ermine while out hunting.
Ermines are essentially stoats or short-tailed weasels but they are all white. Unfortunately, that is why their pelts were, and still are in rare cases, used to line coats. The ermine coat is actually a pattern most commonly used in the medieval age representing nobility.
You can’t really have ermines as pets, as cute as those little faces are. A ferret is as close as you can get and I’ve heard mixed things about those little devils…
But wouldn’t you want to stumble on those sweet little eyes watching you on the hunt?
